Longtime BPS mentor, Ron Schmidt, recently took a few of his “mentees” to a Cavs game that included pretty sweet seats!  Nathan Montanez (Senior at St. Ignatius) Micah Smith (Sophomore at St. Ignatius) and Lawrence Shockley (Freshman at St. Martin de Porres) all started working with Ron through the Breakthrough Schools Mentor Program.  Ron has spent the past few years supporting his mentees with high school placement decisions, high school readiness skills, and discussing important decisions about their future college and careers goals.  Ron is still connected with almost 20 of his mentees!  Thank you, Ron!
