ASME Engineering Scholarship Opportunities

Applications for ASME Scholarships or the 2023-2024 school year are now open! ASME provides engineering scholarships for graduating Seniors who are on a FIRST Robotics team as well as the INSPIRE Scholarship for High School Seniors interested in STEM related studies.

Graduating High School students are the next generation of engineers!

The ASME INSPIRE Program and the ASME Auxiliary offer scholarships to graduating High School seniors interested in pursuing engineering degrees.

Students must be enrolled full-time in an ABET- accredited* or substantially equivalent** mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology program, no later than the fall after their senior year in high school. Find ABET accredited programs here

These awards will be for the first year of study (non-renewable).

There are two scholarship opportunities with their own specific requirements.

What Students Need to Know Before Applying:

Application for the ASME Auxiliary Clarke Scholarship is specifically for students on a FIRST Robotics team and requires an ASME, ASME Student or ASME Auxiliary member as a nominator.

Both scholarships require a letter of recommendation.

ME/MET students enrolled full-time at an ABET accredited college or university during the 2022-2023 academic year.
